Dedicated to Friends, Past and Present

Franklin – William Edward “Billy” Kentner, 64, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 24, 2022.  Billy was born in Metairie, Louisiana and fought a gallant fight with cancer, never giving up the faith of being healed.  Now being fully healed in heaven, Billy is reunited with his child, mother, father-in-law and so many others that have gone on before him.  

Billy is survived by his beloved wife, Lesa Marie Chambers Kentner; sons, Joshua William Burton (Emily) of Johns Island, SC, Jeremiah Ryan Burton (Rainie) of Anna, TX, and Jacob Matthew Kentner of Williamsburg, VA; eight grandchildren; four siblings; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Billy had over a 30 year career with the airlines and spent the last 15 years at his dream job with Woodard Realty.  He was a long time member of the Rock Church in Franklin and on Fridays enjoyed helping the Rock Church staff clean the school. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2PM Thursday, April 28, 2022, Billy’s birthday, at Rock Church in Franklin.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Rock Church School or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
