Walter Joe Stanley, 68, of West Memphis, Arkansas died Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at his home in West Memphis, Arkansas.
Mr. Stanley retired as ground support for Delta Air lines, he served in the United States Marine Corp in Vietnam with Recon 2nd Division.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Viola Mary Staten Stanley and Ritter Runyun Stanley, and a sister Lois Franklin.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Ann Clements Stanley of West Memphis, AR; a daughter, Tracy Lynn Jackson (Steven) of West Memphis, AR; as son, Walter Alexander Stanley (Christy) of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Brenda Tubbs and Martha Smith, a brother, Robert Stanley all of Coleman, AL; grandchildren, Britni Hanna (Mikey), Kerrigan Timms, Austin Timms, Conner Jackson, Taylor Stanley, Dasha Stanley, Shellie Stanley, Aiden Harris and Carly Harris.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home with burial at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, Arkansas at a later date.
