In Loving Memory of Terry Clayton Beaver, Sr., beloved father and devoted servant.

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father and dedicated member of Pace Church of Christ, Terry Clayton Beaver, Sr. He departed this earthly life on July 9, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and unwavering devotion. His departure has left a void in our lives, but we find solace in knowing that his spirit will forever reside in our hearts.

Terry was born on August 4, 1946, in Water Valley, Mississippi, to Robert and Leona Beaver. From an early age, he exemplified compassion, kindness, and a deep devotion to family. He lived his life as a shining example of Christian values, embodying love, forgiveness, and empathy. His unwavering commitment to his family and his church community has left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A devoted husband to his beloved wife Carol Beaver, who preceded him in death, Terry was a pillar of strength and a constant source of support. Their marriage was a beautiful testament to love and commitment, and their bond served as an inspiration to all who knew them. Terry is survived by his children, Kelly Griffith of Olive Branch, MS and Cory and Anne Beaver of Tallahassee, FL. In his role as a father, Terry was a source of unconditional love, wisdom, and encouragement. He tirelessly provided for his family, both emotionally and materially, and instilled in his children the importance of strong moral values and a deep faith in God. He was always there to lend a listening ear, offer guidance, and impart his profound wisdom. His legacy as a father will forever be cherished and carried forward by his children, who continue to be a testament to his unwavering love and guidance.

Within the Pace Church of Christ community, Terry was a revered and beloved figure. His devout faith and commitment to serving others were evident in his tireless efforts. He was actively involved in various classes, the men’s group, the senior group, and was a compassionate counselor to those in need. His gentle spirit and genuine kindness touched countless lives, and his absence will be deeply felt by the congregation.

When reflecting on the life of Terry Beaver, it is impossible not to be inspired by his unwavering faith, his capacity for love, and his dedication to his family and community. He leaves behind an enduring legacy of compassion, kindness, and devotion, and his impact will be felt for generations to come.

As we mourn the loss of our beloved father and church member, let us also celebrate the life he lived and the countless lives he touched. Though he may be physically absent, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. In our hearts, Terry will forever be remembered as a loving husband, a cherished father, a devoted friend, and a faithful servant of God.

May his soul find eternal rest in the arms of the Lord, and may we find comfort in knowing that we were blessed to have had him in our lives.

All those whose lives were touched by Terry are invited to come together to remember and celebrate his life Thursday, July 13, 2023.
