Seth Walter Kimbrel, Jr.
March 2, 1950 - October 25, 2019

Seth Walter "Chuck" Kimbrel, Jr. passed away unexpectedly at his home in Punta Gorda, FL on October 25, 2019. Seth was born in Griffin, Georgia on March 2, 1950 to Dorothy Stewart and Seth Walter Kimbrel, Sr. After graduating from Griffin High School, Seth studied at Southern Tech and later served in the National Guard. He was employed for 30 yrs. as an airplane mechanic for Delta Airlines. Following his retirement from Delta, he was employed by the American Kennel Club as an Executive Field Representative.

Seth loved his family - especially his grandchildren. Seth's hobbies included golf and following NASCAR. Seth was a master griller and loved to prepare tasty meals for his family and friends. Seth had a zest for life that was matched by few. He always had a smile on his face. Seth was a member of Punta Gorda 1st United Methodist Church and member of Punta Gorda Elks Lodge 2606.

Survivors include Seth's wife, Nancy Hinely Kimbrel; daughter, Traci (John) Boyett; son, Jay (Deanna) Kimbrel; stepsons, Bryan and Kyle Austin; grandchildren: Ryan, Amanda, Will, Aubri, John Reese, Hayden, Levi and Jayce.

A Celebration of Life for Seth will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 15, 2019, at Jodeco Road United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association in Seth's memory.
