Robert “Bob” Downing, 74, of Palmetto died April 20, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Margaret Downing. He is survived by his wife Lynne Downing of Palmetto; son Kurtis S. Downing of Palmetto; daughter Kristin B. and Jeffery Wilson of Fayetteville; grandchildren Nicholas R. M. Wilson, Christopher S. C. Wilson, and Jillian A. Wilson of Fayetteville; brother R. Bruce Downing of Lima, PA; special friend Greg Pasquarella of Palmetto; and several nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 25, 2008 at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of C.J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Pastor Justin Kollmeyer will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 257 Hwy. 314, Fayetteville, GA 30214.
