Obituary​

Richard “Hoot” Gibson, age 76, of Hampton, died Sunday, August 19, 2018. He was born in Griffin, Georgia to the late Richard Woodrow and Emily Luella Pitts Gibson, Sr.

Mr. Gibson is survived by his spouse, Linda Minnie Gibson; children, Kimberly (Dwight) Blair, of Duluth, GA, Alisa Vickers, of Hampton, GA, and Cregg (Lauren) Gibson, of Lawrenceville, GA; and 11 Grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Henry Baptist Church .The family will receive friends Friday, August 24, 2018 from 6:00 PM  to  8:00 PM at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Samaritan’s Purse at www.samaritanspurse.org or to Promise 686 at www.promise686.org.
