Mrs. Mary Nell Whitehead, age 73, of Jefferson City, TN and formerly of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013 following an extended illness. Mrs. Whitehead was born on May 12, 1940 in Weinert, Texas to her parents, the late Tom & Beulah Tramell McClure. Mrs. Whitehead was retired from Northwestern Airlines, serving the company as a Passenger Service Agent for many years. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her loving family, her devoted husband, Mr. Wade Whitehead; her daughter & son in law, Rhonda & Gary Elmore; her children, Randy Shuring, Chelsea Shuring, Joshua Elmore and Serriea Elmore; her brothers, Sidney McClure, Jerry McClure and Jack McClure; her sisters, Betty McClure, Sherri McClure and Nuenner McClure; nieces & nephews also survive.

Graveside and Interment services for Mrs. Nell M. Whitehead will be conducted on Monday morning, November 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the family lot of the Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday morning, November 4, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
