Larry Dale Jeffrey, 83, passed away suddenly at home on July 4, 2022 in Tallahassee, FL, where he had resided since 1970.
Larry was a native of Barboursville, WV. After graduating from Barboursville High School he served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He then went to airline school and proceeded to have a long career in the airline industry. He started with Southern Airways which later became Republic Airlines. He was the station manager for both of these airlines in Tallahassee and retired from them. He then went to work for Piedmont Airlines which became US Air. He ultimately retired from US Air after 39 years in the airline industry.

He was active for many years in the Lions Club and was a master mason in the Harry Jackson Lodge No. 314 of Free and Accepted Masons.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Gail McDaniel Jeffrey; his parents, Leo and Della; one brother, Randall; and two sisters, Kathy and Karen.

He is survived by three sons, Brett, Eric and Mark; two grandchildren, Austin and Megan; and one brother, Dwight.
He was a beloved father, friend and mentor. He will be missed by family and friends alike.

A celebration of life and graveside service will be held in West Virginia at a later date. Memorials to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
