Obituary​

John William Pifer, 74, of Carver, Minnesota, passed away on 24 January 2022. He was born to parents John William Pifer Sr. and Grace Rosemont Woodzel, on 24 February 1947 in Arlington, Virginia .

He graduated from Falls Church High in 1965.

He went on to study German and History at Bridgewater College and graduated 1969.

John enjoyed traveling, seeing the world and adventure. He was passionate about learning, teaching, volunteer work, nature walks and lived for his grandchildren and great grand children.

He was preceded in death by Grace Rosemount Woodzel ( Mother) John William Pifer Sr. (Father)

The family has entrusted St Luke's Episcopal Church with the arrangements. A Celebration of life is scheduled for February 12th 2022 with visitation at 11am and service at 12pm. Address for St. Luke's is 615 Vermillion St, Hastings, MN 55033 Bob Langenfeld will officiate the ceremony.
