Jesse DeWayne Hill
April 12, 1939 - March 18, 2016

Jesse DeWayne Hill, 76, of Germantown, TN passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Violet Hill and a daughter, Deborah Hill. Mr. Hill is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Jo Hill, two children, Kim Howell (Coburn) and Janet Howe (Chad) and four grandchildren, Lana Howe, Jessie Howe, Evie Howell and Brock Howell. Mr. Hill served in the US Army and went on to work and retire as a Captain of Southern Airways, Republic Airlines and Northwest Airlines. He was a member of Germantown Baptist Church. Mr. Hill was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, March 21st from 12-2pm with the funeral at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119. The burial will take place on Wednesday, March 23, at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Gallant, AL. Memorial Contributions can be made to Germantown Baptist Church.
