George Benjamin Parks of Palmetto, passed away June 3, 2010.  He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara Gentry Parks; daughter, Jessica Parks Hines and her husband Thad of Douglasville; son Josh Parks and his wife Tiffany of Palmetto; mother, Annie Ruth Parks of Palmetto; sister Connie Parks Summer and her husband George of Newnan; grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home.  Interment to follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
