Ernest Lott Meeks
October 6, 1936 — May 12, 2024

Ernest Lott Meeks, 87, of Stockbridge, died Sunday, May 12, 2024, at The Oaks in Stockbridge, Georgia.

Born on October 6, 1936, in Coffee County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Ernest Hymerick Meeks and Annie Elizabeth Lott.

Mr. Meeks worked as an aircraft mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Whisnant Meeks; brother, Dan Meeks; and sisters, Gwen Manspile and Montine Hersey.

Mr. Meeks is survived by his son, Ron Meeks and wife Jennifer; daughter, Felicia Roberson and husband Mike; grandchildren, Bennett Meeks, Ashton Meeks Lewis and husband John, Ansley Meeks Kent and husband Dakota, Emily Roberson Collier and husband CJ, Erika Roberson Whitmire and husband Wesley; Ian Roberson; great grandchildren, Colton Meeks, Lilyana Meeks, Amelia Whitmire, Ellison Kent, Griffin Kent and Reed Lewis; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, on Thursday, May 16, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Cashwell officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
