Elizabeth Louise (Cruchon) Kirchberg, a longtime resident of New Orleans, LA, passed away quietly December 16, 2023, at her assisted living center, Vista Shores. Louise was born January 11, 1937 to her late parents, Theodore A. and Edna E. Cruchon of New Madrid, MO. She attended Immaculate Conception School and New Madrid High. Upon graduation, she was employed with Civil Service, residing in Memphis, TN before joining Southern Airlines as a stewardess, and becoming a supervisor. She had a successful career in management with the airlines for many years. During this time, Louise met her future husband, Karl Kirchberg, of New Orleans, LA. Louise was also an avid bridge player and enjoyed her Real Estate days. Louise was one in a million and her laugh was infectious. She always visited friends, bringing gifts and gladly sharing her wisdom with anyone who asked. Louise could talk to anyone and make them feel like the most important person in the room. She opened her heart and her home to friends and family anytime. Louise loved her roots in New Madrid and being known by the Cruchon Family as the Queen Bee. She is survived by her sisters, Nadean Cruchon of Memphis, TN and Gwendolyn Cruchon of Austin, TX, her nieces and nephews, Jimmy Lynn Thompson, Stephenie and Taylor Hatch, Renee Rearick, and Ted Cruchon, Jr., and many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death her by sisters, Patsy (Coon) Thompson and Mary Jane Cruchon, and brothers, David and Ted Cruchon, Sr. A special thank you to Vista Shores of New Orleans for the excellent care and love she received.
