Obituary​

Elaine Akin Hudson passed away July 5, 2008. She was a graduate of Forest Park High School in 1965 and attended Tift College in Forsyth, GA. She had worked for Southern Airways, Republic and Northwest Airlines over a period of sixteen years. She then joined the management team of the Wachovia operations center in Hapeville, GA. Currently, and for the past year, Elaine has been working in airfare product support with SITA, located in Atlanta, GA. She was the daughter of the late Mary and Homer Lewis Akin, and is survived by her son Lewis Holt Hudson, sister Katherine Akin, and brother-in-law Will Dover. Elaine will be cremated, with a memorial celebration held at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 12pm and officiated by Rev. Tom Tout.
